Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Any suggestions for a newbie!! I am almost complete with my pre-op stuff. I go to 2 more and I am on the road to surgery. Hopefully It will be the first of April. I am in the process of posting pictures, I can't seem to find any that I like (The story of my life).  I think that I will have to bite the bullet and do it anyway. I have looked at some of your profiles, and you all look wonderful, I can't wait. I just cant imagine myself not Fat!!

Thank you! I was really pleased @ the "class" appointment I had, and everytime I call. They seem so nice and wonderful. At first I was nervous but as I do more and more on this journey, I am getting excited. I cant wait!

Hi! I am new to the forum, but I look forward to participating and learning from everyone's experiences.  I am working with Southern Surgical, too!  I am signed up for the patient education class on Monday the 25th.  My insurance does cover the surgery, but I still have to do the pre-approval thing.  Did you guys get to pick your surgeon or was he chosen for you?  Does anyone have Blue Cross for state employees?  If so, how was your experience getting approved for the surgery?  Any information will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

They ask you which of the three that you would want to work with. I had heard a lot of wonderful things about Naizri, so that is why I chose him. I have BCBS of NC they were great as far as any approval.  I actually had fun at the class, I met a few people that were just like me. You will learn a lot of things that you did not already know. I have 2 more pre-op appts to go, then I get to meet my surgeon. So excited. I have a question for you guys, how do I put my picture as the default?

I had issues uploading my picture, too.  I found the info below on some kinda help menu which I can't find again, but here it is:

"You may send the unedited photo in jpg, bmp or gif format to [email protected] along with your username and e-mail address associated with your profile and we will add it for you." Hope that helps.
