Melissa, If I had to do this again tomorrow I would be the first one at the door. I have my life back and am experincing so many new of wonderful things just about life. WLS is a very personal choice and you must be totally dedicated to it. Some people have said it is an easy way I say Hell NO it is hard work but so worth it.                                                   Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

I feel so much better, off all but 1 med (no counting my vitamains, etc) and have more energy than I've had in years.  If you are doing this for the "right" reasons you will not be disappointed. Good Luck, Dianne

Melissa...I agree with everyone else.  ABSOLUTELY i would do this again.  I am just about to hit the 3 month post op mark and it has been the BEST thing that has ever happened to me.  I am so Blessed to have had little to no problems and I feel like I have a brand new life.  Other than right now being sick with the flu...I haven't been sick at all.  Other than the typical things that happen if you don't get in your water and or nutrients.   Good Luck.  Dr. B is awesome.  You are in great hands no doubt.  This decision is yours and yours alone.  Stay true to yourself.  You will not be the same ...  it is a wonderful thing! ABSOLUTELY!   The only thing I would do different is have the surgery about 10 years sooner than I did.
