How long does it usually take for your information to be checked off on your website checklist???  I had my nutrition appt. on 2/4/08 and at that time I dropped off some labs, office notes, etc., and as of today nothing has been checked off... I am trying to be patient, but it is so hard.  I have all Pre-op tests done, had EGD last Monday, and I am ready to have my infomation submitted.  If anyone has any suggestions or information, please help me out...
Thanks

Hi, He was my Dr. and the girls in the office are great butttttttttt..I called about once a week to make sure every thing was going where it should and checking my list. Stay on top of it.  They know me by voice and name now. My first visit with Dr. B was June the 8  my surgery was Dec 13 07.  But mine was a little longer due to previous surgery mess and extra test due to it.  He has a lot of patients having this surgery done so it may take a little time... just be patient and keep in touch with them.  I even dropped by the office 1 or 2  times to personaly check with the office girls about this or that.  Hope this gives you some insight and goo luck. If you need to talk to me PM and I will either give you my # or call you. Myrtis

I have SOOOO just recently been exactly where you are.  I was checking my tasks several times daily--a little neurotic I was. I do have to say...they are really "on it" at Dr. B's office.   The tasks aren't checked off until Dr. B reviews--which was in a little less than 2 weeks from my recent experience.  And let me tell you...things moved F-A-S-T from that point.  I had my last item reviewed and checked off on Monday 2/11/08.  Information was submitted to insurance on Wednesday 2/13/08.  And Kim called me today on Monday 2/18/08 for a surgery date to be scheduled.  And it is scheduled for MARCH 7th.....and my pre-op is THIS FRIDAY.   OMG...it is happening sooooooo fast.....

Everone is super nice when you contact them and will help settle your nerves by letting you know there they are in the process.  Their quick response and willingness to answer questions has given me a lot of faith! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Hi there! I always say this is the hardest part of this journey...waiting for the approval process to be completed!  I think it is because we are so afraid we might be denied.  I was so unaware of how much I WANTED this surgery until I thought I was going to be denied.  That was a terrible feeling!  Don't worry it will all work out in just the right time! Keep us posted!
