Recovering (long)

The party went off with a few problems the first one was 2/3rds of invited people did not show. The people who did come we all had a great time. I really went all out for this party physically ,emotinally ect... I felt bad for Lee mainly because many of the people invited were from his job. I think people dont do parties like they used to because of gas,dinking and driving ect... What ever the reason we have decided we wont be doing parties again it takes to much out of us. I love people and gatherings but from now on if we have a gathering we are going to keep it very small. As for my black jeans well I put them on and found out the anti theft thing was still attached to the pants. Lee tried to get it off but could not. The pants also were too big when I put them on LOL go figure I just bought them less than a week ago. I did not take as many pics but I have to look at a few Becky took and post one or two later. Lee is enjoying his Xbox and got some gift cards for Best Buy where we went yesterday morning to get another controller. I hope to play some golf later today on the Xbox. To play a real game of golf is a goal of mine. On the PC I am very good but havent done it in real life yet. Just had to vent a little but glad to have OH where I can do that at. BTW I was up at 4am drinking coffee again LOL I sleep great but when I wake up I am awake wondering if I am starting to go through menapause. At least I am sleeping like I never had before in my life also able to sleep on my side now.                                                   Annie

Hi Annie. Sorry to hear you were bummed about the party.  I sure know what that's all about.  You put so much love and effort into making it a success and then people let you down.  I am sorry.  I hope it didn't dim Lee's birthday enjoyment.  And glad to hear that those who did attend had a great time. I'm with Mare on the jeans: now it will be easier to take them back for a SMALLER SIZE!!!

Annie, It is disappointing when you put your all into something and it doesn't turn out the way you expected.  I'm sorry about that.  However, it sounds like you made the most of it, and I'm sure Lee appreciated all the work you put into it all.   That's awesome that your jeans are already too big for you (one week later!)  Frustrating about the anti-theft thing, but I guess it didn't matter either way since they were too big anyway!  :)   I hope you are getting good rest now that the party is over.  You should have a huge sense of pride for the event that you put together, and remember the fun you had with those that did show up.  So, congrats on that! I'm so sorry that so many folks didn't show, but I am delighted that you were able to enjoy the company of those who did. I'm sure that Lee truly appreciated all the effort that you went to.

Isn't it great that the jeans don't fit ... too small! ... I remember a time, when I was always getting bummed because I bought something a week ago and it didn't fit because now it was too tight! It's great to have to opposite problem.

Enjoy your clean house and spending time playing games with your best friend in the world!
