Hi Mare, It is a pain you can do one or both things. First one time will remove it or you can use nail polish remover. Sorry I havent called but tonight is the party and Ive been running around like a chicken but I can honestly say everything has been done and Lee and I can chill before people come. I think because of the weight loss is has allowed me to clean my house better and not get so stressed.                                             Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Ether does it!  I have some ether wipes specifically designed for getting that **** off from when I had my PIC line in.  I was always covered in tape residue.  Want me to run some over?

The glue used on my bandages irritated my skin and I tried to use nail polish rmover on mine and OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Burned like heck!  I think the bandages and staples were worse than the surgery!;) Andrea

It will eventually go away..  it took a while, but with showering every day it goes away in about a week or so.  I would stray away from any nail polish remover or alcohol... you don't know what that can do to your incision.

Goo Gone!  Just don't get it in the incisions....  A nurse told me this trick...  I used it on me and my DH and we're still alive. HOpe you're otherwise feeling well!  Alice

There is adhesive remover. I work in an outpt therapy clinic and we use it. It has a nice orange smell and doesn't burn. I don't have a clue if you can get it at a drug store or not. B

Nurse told me peanut butter.  But I did not try it! I did not want to use chemicals close to my incision so time worked just fine. Myrtis
