A MILESTONE...
Well, I have to acknowledge it. I am under 140! It's been a LONG time! That has been a mental goal that I have sort of not looked at too closely, but I knew it would start sinking in when I could say my weight was in the 130s. Actually I have held off sliding that ticker for a few days just to be sure. We had a small group over yesterday to show our love and support for Mare before her surgery on Tuesday and it is always so neat to see the transformations in everyone else as well! What a gift this surgery is for those of us who have struggled for so long! I am SO grateful!
Just wanted to share my musings for the day...
Thank you Annie. Mare told us about your wonderful gift. When she said she got a present from you, I said "Lemme guess: it's a fairy and she is wearing purple!" Sounds like I was pretty darned close! She sounds wonderful! (The fairy and Mare!) We really missed the Raleighwood girls yesterday, but I am glad that you had a nice lunch with Barb.
Congratulations!!!
Enjoy!
Barb
P.S. I wish I could have joined you all. I'll bet everyone had a lovely time. What a nice thing for you to do for Mare.

I know it's hard to rally everyone at the same time, but I know that Mare truly appreciated the gesture and will be getting lots of support from those who were able to attend and those who will support her virtually.
You are a great friend.

Thanks Deb! We sure did miss you yesterday too!
With me being 5 ft nuttin' and shrinking, I know it sounds vain of me to be shooting for the low 100s but it's really not an unreasonable goal. My bone structure is very fine and I am just a tiny little thing and that would be a healthy weight for me, as evidenced by my BMI. (I am saying this more for myself than for you, LOL!) Thank goodness for BMIs! They keep everything in perspective!
