Oh my, I'm a PEPSI gal and have been craving one the past week or two SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! I miss my Dt. Pepsi and Dt. Dr. Pepper worse than anything. If any of you pre-srug folks out there would have a big ice cold one of these for me, I'd be mighty obliged!
I'll have to do a post about roasted root vegetables. I have actually turned a LOT of folks in to B. Sprout and (particularly) turnip eaters who SWORE they couldn't stand them. The roasted caramelized the natural sugars and makes them taste totally different, especially the turnips.
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

OMG! Did she say "balls"? ! Let's see...(in order of repulsion) LOL Liver Brussell Sprouts Chitterings (`chit- lins) Sweet Potatoes Collard Greens Anything with any amount (a trace or a gallon) of mayonaise...YUCK! Anything with any amount of mustard Smoked sausage Coconut Raw Oysters (steamed, fried ok) Dark Chocolate (I know, I weird) Country Ham (Salt, salt and more salt) Weird Cheese (cheddar is better!) Anything I can't pronounce (drives the wife crazy, says I won't eat anything!)
Oh goodness, some of my FAVS are on your list... country ham, which MUST be slathered with only DUKE'S mayo.
And around here, I'm known to folks as THE collard cook'n queen!
Ate raw oysters for supper at the oyster bar just last night...
But I will agree w/you on the dark chocolate... I know it's "healthier" but I'm a milk chocolate gal!

BEETS BRUSSEL SPROUTS CAULIFLOWER CHITTLINS SLAW LIVER SOUSE PIGS FEET COOKED TURNIPS (I LIKE TURNIP SALAD, AND RAW TURNIPS THOUGH) SQUID ANY SUSHI WITH RAW FISH FRENCH DRESSING LAMB DEER BEAR DUCK FROGS SQUIRRELS... THERE IS A PATTERN HERE... (LET'S JUST SAY IF IT DIDN'T COME FROM THE SEA, OR A COW, CHICKEN, OR PIG I DON'T LIKE IT!) BULLET PROTEIN DRINKS PROSTAT PROTEIN POWDERED PROTEIN SHAKES PROTEIN BARS PROTEIN WAFERS... PATTERN HERE TOO... SPLENDA SWEET N LOW EQUAL... YET ANOTHER PATERN LEMON IN MY TEA! <-- THAT FALLS IN THE SAME PATTERN FRUIT CAKE FRESH WATER FISH, OTHER THAN FRIED CATFISH MOST SAL****ER FISH.... WHAT DO I EAT???
