Migraine...HELP
Sorry to hear you're hurting! No fair it should happen so soon after your surgery while you're still healing.
I think you should call your doc about the migraine medication. I'm sure the doc on call tonight would be happy to answer this question for you.
It's possible that it was caused by the low-pressure weather system coming through. This type of weather always seems to trigger migraines for me. I also get migraines when the temperatures spike too high too quickly. But it could be many factors, of course.
I am not sure about the mirgraine rx. However, headaches can be a sign of dehydration... since you are newly post-op make sure you are sip sip sipping all day.
Also, if your Dr didnt require any sort of pre-op plan, like liquids, could be you are going thru withdrawl from caffeine? sugar?? Just something to think about :-)

Thanks Jennifer. I think you're right about the dehydration. I am getting most of my protein, but finding it hard to get all my liquids in. I gave up sugar and caffiene before surgery and I had migraines pre op, so I'm not sure what started it. I feel much better today, still a little shaky, so I'm really going to try and sip...sip...sip..
Thnaks again, Robin
