I am so BLESSED to be part of this incredible family.  You all are some of the best people I know.  All of your support over these past two weeks has been incredible....mindblowing actually!  Unfortunately my husband ended up back in the hospital and they haven't really found out anything concrete to pinpoint his "attacks".  One bad bad bad thing that was discovered is that he is now pre-diabetic but it is very high to me.  (120-140 for the past week fasting).  His doctors are going to allow him to control it via meals and exercising for now.  God Bless him...  He is gonna have a hard time!!  I do believe this has scared him and he has done well this week with doing much better with his eating.  It is so extremely scary to not know what is wrong with him.  He just suddenly breaks out into a horrible sweating, pressure filled, hot flashing/freezing, blacking out.  The cardiac doctor in the ER and that gave him the two stress test diagnosed him with VasoVagal.  It is the wildest condition!!!  I can't begin to explain it because it is so unreal...  so feel free to google it I guess.  I am personally under the assumption that he is suffering from anxiety/panic attacks.  I've been there and done that...so I do recognize the look of fear on his face!!  Scary stuff ya'll...  please understand that I miss you all so much and I promise to be back more reliable just as soon as I can.   Like BlondGirl said...  I escaped last night to go to the NEMC Support Group.  It was so awesome to get away from these 4 walls.!!!  BUT...  when I got home the hubby was very sick again.  He attempted to go to work and had to come home.  So my night of support was needed bigtime!  Bea is absolutely a joy and I was Blessed to have met you last night.  SHE is the one that is personality plus!   I had the opportunity to promote the NC Forum so I hope that some more wonderful NC folks come our way.  I gave out my name (buttersmom) so if anyone "heard" me last night..  please so hang out a while here.  These people are THE BEST!  They will help you ...  I am living and breathing proof!    LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!  You just don't know how much everyone means to me!  I wish I could meet everyone and give you all a huge big hug.  SO HERE YA GO!!   ((((HUG))) Be Back (to regular) soon!!  Promise! Connie

Hi Connie -

It sounds like the VasoVagal diagnosis, is a diagnosis of the symptom of fainting. Have they figured out why the fainting might be occuring? I'm so sorry to hear that your husband is struggling. I hope that things will smooth out for both of you soon.

Thanks for keeping us apprised of what's happening.

I think it's good and important that you are taking the time for yourself. You need to care for you so that you can care for your husband.

Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to support you.

Barb

GREAT GREAT GREAT to see you Ms. Connie!!!  I was having "soul sister" withdrawl Man, when you guys do things you don't mess around huh?  Nothing comes easy! I can only imagine what H**L you and hubby are going thru!  It really isn't fun when you feel so helpless!  Docs are suppose "to know everything" and when they don't, well, that's Another level of scary!!   Couple of years ago my dad started, what we called, Flippin out.  He would do much like your hubby.  He'd get the sweats, feal like his head weighed 100lbs, get cold, sometimes throw up, then pass out cold as kraut!!  One day he had to get out of his truck at the end of their driveway and lie on the grass for 30 minutes til it passed cause he couldn't even move!  Noone was home to help. It ended up being some kind of inner ear imbalance.  I will find out exactly what it was called!!  Cause hey, you never know!!  He takes (or took) meds and now it's ok. Anyway, as everyone has said, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF and HIM!!!  Ya'll PLEASE know that prayers are going up and thoughts are with you every minute of the day!!   You know, I may even drink a protein drink for you lol Lots of Love!! Take Care!! Connie
