I am TIRED of what I have been eating for lunch.  Pimento cheese, soup and chicken salad are getting old.   What do you guys eat for lunch?  I have a fridge and a microwave so I could keep something cold and heat it up if necessary.  :)

I love to make shrimp salad for quickie meals.  With frozen cooked salad shrimp and some boiled egg, a little pickle relish and mayo.  I try to make it night or day before I wanna eat it cause I think it's better after sitting overnight. But I just walked in the door today and had a hankering for some Chinese food so I went in the mall food court while up in Raleigh and got some honey mustard chicken (never had that) w/out rice or noodles... they sold me a child's size and threw a few pieces of broccoli in the container for me.  I also got some Hot & Sour soup... LOVE that stuff, but that's for later. So, I'm going to have lunch now.  I got it "take out" cause my tummy has been a little "runny" today, if ya know what I mean, so I didn't wanna RUN there eating in the mall.  LOL I look forward to seeing what others are eating.  Fun post...

Well drats!  Can you eat crab???  How about crab salad.  I'm into some shellfish... don't know what I'll do if I ever get allergic.  They'll just have to shoot me and put my out of my misery.

I like crab and tuna salad... it's good with chopped boiled egg, a little duke's mayo and relish... I'm excited about this post too, b/c it's hard to find ideas for lunch. I need to start bringing my lunch again and my standard "sandwich" isn't working anymore... :)

Today I had a small salad (spinach, leaf lettuce, carrots, broccoli slaw, dried cranberries), tuna fish on melba toast, 1/2 a banana and 2 SF gingersnaps. Yesterday I had a small salad (see above), small light n fit yogurt, 2-3oz of deli turkey and 6 raspberries Tomorrow... hmmmm last night I made chicken tacos, I may bring one of those tomorrow its made up of a TJs lo carb wrap, little bit of yellow rice, spinkle of LF cheese, shredded mexican style chicken, LF sour cream and tomatillo sauce.. sooo yummy and reheats well! Ill eat it with some salad and fruit. Its good minus the wrap/rice too... I just like the bulk and it really fills me up... could sub refried beans to give it more heavyness. I am pretty plain when it comes to lunch *shrug*

Today I had the remains of a grilled chicken breast on a salad with artichokes and hearts of palm, cukes, some cherry tomatoes, and a couple of leaves of lettuce.  That salad lasted 3 days!  LOL  I often make some kind of stir fry, shrimp or chicken breast, with oriental veggies, and will often have those leftovers the next day for lunch.  Tuna salad is always good as is crab salad, and chicken salad.  LOVE salads!  I just can't do the wrap thingies yet!  My meals are spread out.  I might eat my salad and then a cup of ff yogurt an hour later.

All of these sound sooooooooooo good!  But I'm still a few days away from the liquids-only thing.  Argh.  What I wouldn't give for a yummy shrimp salad. It was pureed Tuscan bean soup for me for lunch.  And guess what I'm having for dinner?  *laughing*  Yeah.  Good guess.   Add some more Jell-O cubes and you've got yourself a well-rounded color palette, anyway. Those breakfast ideas on the other thread are perfect.  I'm printing 'em up and posting them on my cupboard door for when I'm a few more weeks out.
