I'm right there with you sis.  I've been trucking along - working out, working hard. Got to 93'bs and was like WOOT! I'm getting close to my 2nd goal for myself - my first 100lbs off! And in 6 weeks - less than 4lbs...  it's like I can't get there... /sigh I've also felt like turning back to food with my frustration. I haven't. I keep writing it down when I get like that and instead of eating I just write.  Been seeing a therapist as well.  Don't give up. When I talked with my surgeon about it, he said we are going to have slow spots. It's normal. Hang in there and keep your chin up!

I"m stuck at 70 lbs. too!  Working my ars off at the Y and walking a LOT on the few days I don't go there.  I'm eating right, drinking right, exercising a LOT... so I'm right there with you gals.  I KNOW this is a great loss for me at this time, but it is rather annoying to come to such an abrupt halt.  Thinking about doing one of those 5 day "pouch tests" I've read about on the main forum to see if I can jump start myself again. Anybody around here had experience with that??  Not thrilled at the thoughts of liquids again, but if it will get me going, maybe those of us who are stuck could do it together...

P.S.  I had my first of many stalls at 3 weeks that lasted a couple of weeks, so it seems that's about when folks experience their first one.

Just like Wendy I had my first stall at about 3 weeks out.  It was quite scary at the time.  I remember wondering if that was it, if I'd done it all for nothing, etc.  But the loss started again.  Hang in there, keep following your plan and the weight will come off again!   You have quite an exercise routine going.  I know when I start a hard workout regimen, my weight stalls for a while, but keep doing what you're doing...it'll kick start soon. On a side note, have you taken any measurements?  I'd be willing to bet that you've lost inches, even if you haven't lost pounds.  It all counts towards your goal!

Cat step away from that scale. I know it sounds crazy but I was weighing all the time and getting very frustrated so I took a break a long break from the scale. When I got back on it I lost 5lbs. yeah I still have a long way to go but I look at where I started and I look at how things have changed for me for the good. I have heard that the body holds onto the fat when it thinks it is starving. Sounds like you are doing a great job working out. Dont worry and dont ever doubt you did the wrong thing with wls. Get that tape measure out I need to do that too.                                          Annie

But CAT!  You have lost 31 pounds in LESS THAN ONE MONTH!!!   When have you ever done that?  I think that many of us experience the 3 week "stall"... don't worry.  This too shall pass.

Yes, Cat, I think your body is in panic mode and is holding on fro dear life to every pound you have left!  It will pass, and you will see a rapid weight loss next.  Keep doing what you are doing.  I wish I were as disciplined as you are!

I think your body is just in "shock" mode right now!!  Thirty-one pounds in a month is awesome!  Just take a deep breath and everything will be fine.  Your body is just taking a well deserved break right now because you are freaking it out!!!  Don't worry, you will start losing again.  Don't give up now!! Hugs, Donna
