scales really movin'

A great deal of personal problems at home have really throen me for a loop here lately. I could really use some prayers right now. Kids are being really difficult at the moment and I am at wit's end right now. With that being said, I have not hardly eaten (or slept) all week. I know this is really BAD and I am shcoked that the scales have moved since I really figured my weight would hang on for dear life. I did not mean to do this but the stress has been unreal. Anyhow, this should be my time to enjoy the success I have had and it has been hampered by all that has been happening. I am really making an effort today to get back on track here.  I usually do not update my ticker as I never quite trust it until I have seen it for a few days....lol. This am I hit 149.8. I can remember many years ago after my divorce losing weight and hitting that 133 for about 5 seconds and then my weight jumping back up 4 pounds the next week.  I managed to hold in the 140's for about a year and then the weight came creeping back. I remember thinking 150 will be my stopping point and I don't ever need to go above that. Fast forward 10 years later, plus about 100 pounds...lol. I do hope the surgery will be the answer to this problem. I do not want to ever end up back where I was.  This has been an amazing journey and I hope to be able to enjoy it more once the fog has cleared.  Thanks to all of you for all of the support here. It has meant so much to me. For this I am greatful. Lisa

Lisa, I'm so sorry everythings so difficult right now.  Congratulations on your weight loss, however.  I looked at your profile and you look fabulous!!  I go back to Dr. Classen in March for my 6 month checkup.  I need to post my pictures on my profile but I haven't sat down long enough to do it yet.   Anyway, my prayers are with you and the kids.  Keep up the good work, but try to eat and sleep more.  It will start to catch up with you, if it hasn't already.  Kim

Hey Lisa,      I won't tell you what a bad girl you are for not eating, ect. You already know that. But I will say congrats on an excellent weight loss so far. I hope your situation at home and all that is stressing you out resolves itself soon. I will keep you in prayer, my friend. xoxo Mare

((((((Lisa)))))) So sorry to hear that life is stressing you out right  now.  I have no words of wisdom or advice for you other than to hang in there and please remember to take care of yourself.  You have come so far and done so good to give up on yourself now!  This too shall pass! Congrats on getting below 150 lbs even if it wasn't the "good" way to do it!!

Hey Lisa!  SOOOOOOOOOOO  sorry to hear that you are experiencing challenges right now.  Kids are the hardest job we get to do, I think.  Treat yourself lovingly and remember we did not get instruction manuals with them, so you're allowed to change your mind.  Check your motives and your heart and follow what your heart tells you is right.  We are blessed with great instincts and our job is to learn to trust them more.  I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Lisa... sorry to hear things have been so rough for you lately.  You have my prayers.  I find it hard during stressful times not to reach for something to eat... Kudos on not gorging yourself full of bad food choices while you were so stressed out! God bless and keep your head up!

Lisa, I'm sorry your having a rough time with the kids.  It's a bummer when life seems to get in the way of what we really want to be focusing on.  But, your weight loss battle is paying off and so will your struggles with the kids.  Hang in there! You're doing great with the weight loss!  Congrats!!!
