I have to admit I have become a scale goddess. I have been weighing everyday and the scale hasent moved in almost two weeks OMG talk about freaking out. This morning the scale moved 2/10ths of a pound. On a happy note I feel great and decided to start riding my statinary bike after walking. I have even had thoughts of a revision and or a lapband. Lee tells me not to panic and said "what do you do when yo run out of gas? You put more in and keep going" Gotta love him. Thanks Jennifer for your post to Becky makes lots of sense at a time I am in a panic state.                                        Annie

(((((Annie))))),

Don't we have a love/had relationship with that darn scale!? Remember that you've come a long way baby and you ain't done yet. I know it's really scary to have a stall, but it's our body's way of trying to protect itself and hold onto the "precious" fat stores. While that's all good and well from an intellectual perspective, I know that you'll feel better when you see it move again.... And it will.

Enjoy the success you have achieved and know that this is not the end of your journey, just a bump in the road.

Love,

Barb

It can be your best friend one day, and the next IT LIES!!   lol   No, now seriously, you know that things are up and down, and just like Ms. Barb said, look from where you came baby!! I'm still on that stand still of mine too!! grrrrrrrrr   I've lost 5lbs in 4 weeks!!  BUT, that's 5 more gone and none added, and it will be even more wonderful when I get it kick started again!! We love ya, you keep on keeping on!! CONNIE

Oh Annie, it's just your body taking a breather from all this intense weight loss, getting ready for another bout!  You are doing so great, sweetie!  And look at all the exercising you are doing!  What progress you aren't seeing on the scales, we can all see, even your neighbors!, as you are walking the furbabies and riding your bike and going swimming!  It's all a miracle!

Thanks Suzanne, Actually I think I got the workout bug back. I used to live at the gym when I was working on my first 300. It is so hard to get it back once you stop so I am hoping I will keep it going and going. I weigh less now than I did on my wedding day which was in October 03. Also I am finding that I dont need to spend lots of money on club memeberships when I can do what I need to do using what is around me.                                            Annie
