Picture up date! pre op and 6 weeks out!

Oaky!    Against my better judgement I posted the dreaded pre op pictures along with some updated pictures (6weeks out)   I don't see a whole lot of difference yet, but have been told there is a difference.   After posting these pictures it was easy to see why I have kept them hidden, what an eye opener.

Donna, you are much too hard on yourself!  You look wonderful!   I see an enormous difference!  Congratulations!  Also, congratulations on getting up the courage to post those photos.  I know they are not as bad as you think they are, but I also know that it took a lot of courage to get past your negative mindset about yourself and post them.  You took a big step towards loving yourself by doing this!  Thank you so much for sharing your victory with us!

Suzanne, You are too kind.  Getting up the courage to put those pre op pics up was tough and it was even harder taking them.   I suppose it will get easier to except the fact that pictures aren't as bad as they look.  When will it get easier?  lol Thanks again for your kind words!

I totally relate to be reluctant to post pictures. I finally did last week...also against my better judgement. LOL But you? You are adorable!!!! And I can definately see a difference already. Keep it up, girl. You're doing a bang up job! xoxo Mare

Mare, You are just to funny, thank you so much for the compliment.  I'm hoping that the picture taking will get better, actually I aslo need not to ask my husband to take pictures during a football game. Not a good thing!  LOL

First, let me tell you that you are beautiful woman with a radiant smile that invites a person in. Second, keep taking those photos. Your new photos show your much slimmer midsection and face. It's so hard at first, we are so very hard on ourselves and have spent so much time hiding from the camera, but you'll be really happy you did. It also helps as we get farther down the road to help our heads catch up with the progress our bodies are making.
