Passing by and saying Hello

Sorry I haven't been on that much.  I've been really busy. Surpringly, not so much because of the Holidays. I haven't seen my family for Christmas since 1996. They don't come up here and I haven't been able to get down to Texas.  Everyone is looking great! Love the new pic updates! Juliana - I hope you are doing well! You've been on my mind.  I'm going to try to make the movie day, but if not, I'll make the Perkins meet.  I've actually been very busy looking for a 2nd job.  My resolution for the New Year was 1) to take care of me  but 2) to try and get a handle on finances before they take over me.  If I can work a P/T job in the evenings I should only have to do it for a year, maybe year and half.  But it seems my weight is still getting in the way. Oh well.. I'll keep trying.

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!! How about something PT with the Hurricanes or out there at the RBC center since you're such a big fan??? I just read this morning they lost another one last night... bummer!

Cagair, I wanted to publically thank you for sending me the IsoBreathing excersie video.  I've never had anyone "out of the blue" ask if they could send me something for free.  What a treat!! I've been doing it daily along with watching a FitTV program called "Shimmy."  Shimmy is based on bellydancing techniques.  I can't do any of the standing movements, but do all of the shoulder ones. I've always thought a second job in a children's section of a bookstore or library would be kinda fun.  I think it would be fun to decorate and have story time.  I guess that's the teacher in me coming out!! Hey Hey!!! You have been on my mind too girl!!! I am doing much better but the cravings are a real struggle... I have to continually say that this will be worth it- although it doesn't feel like it right now. I really hope that you find success in finding a job.... it will work out! Thank you so much everyone! I turned in one part-time app today. It's for a receptionist postion in the afternoon/ evenings. But only *some Saturdays. It's perfect and pays better than minimum wage that I would get at the reatil store I applied to with better hours. So cross your fingers they will call.  CosmicKelly - Ok you've made me blush!!!!   I am truly glad that you can use it and it is helping you.  Before my surgery I had weight that Dr. Mitchell required me to lose. But at 460+ lbs - I wasn't "moving" much that wasn't painful. That video helped me A LOT.  Now that I'm under 400 (don't know specifically yet) I've been able to do much more and didn't need it.  It tickles me to death that someone else can use it!!! I'm starting to have clothes that I can't wear because they are too big! If anyone knows someone who can use size 6x shirts - let me know!!

Juliana - I know exactly how you feel. Just hang in there. Just a couple of months and you'll think differently!! I promise!
