Everyone has given some good advice on how to break through a stall - I'm curious about how long they normally last.

I have been basically stalled for the past two weeks.  I have only lost 2 pounds in that time.  I just assume that my weight loss is slowing down, which I think is normal.  I am still 29 pounds from goal, but I would be happy if I only lost 10 or 15 more pounds.  :) Just be patient Nik...  you will get through this!!  I have considered doing the 5 day pouch test after New Years..  if your stall is not broken maybe we can do it "together".  :D

What on earth is a five day pouch test? I'm actually doing okay - I'm not frustrated or aggravated.  A bit disappointed, but I figured this would happen both at 3 weeks out and at this weight, which I was at for years and years. I gather that 2-3 weeks is the average time for a stall, not counting the kick-start techniques. Nik

I am just hoping that this will get me into Onederland..  I am not really frustrated either.. just eager to see that 199 on the scale.  :D There is information here about the pouch test:  http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/theplan.html
