Juliana is looking great!

Hi all -

I just wanted to give you a quick update.

I drove over to Durham Regional to see Juliana and her mom, Tammy. When I got there, I was delighted to find Juliana in high spirits and looking lovely as she was surrounded by the love of her aunts, cousins, grandmother, mom and a friend. If you've ever been to Durham Regional, you'll know that the rooms there are incredibly small ... It was litterally standing room only. Her lovely family welcomed me to the fray. There was plenty of chatter, laughter, hugs, and prayer that filled her room. I could tell it also lifted her heart and her mother's.

Juliana has been up walking, sipping, giggling, sipping, walking ... I believe she's turned the corner.

I also wanted you to know that I printed off all of postings so that Juliana would be able to read your sentiments. She was touched and appreciates all the concern and support that you have extended to her and her family.

I look forward to talking with Tammy and/or Juliana this evening. I'll post if I do.

Barb

Barb, what a wonderful thing you did by going to see Juliana. After talking to her this morning I was so upset I cussed all the way to my mom.s house. Tammy said she had to have two blood transfusions and the doctors felt the tear was in her colon. I am glad to hear she is doing much better.                                                        Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Barbara - thank you so much for going to see her and keeping us updated. I wanted to go today while I was out that way, but I'm coming down with my daughters cold and I didn't think that would be the appropriate place for me to be.  I'm sure it meant a lot to her and I know it meant a lot to me that someone visited her. I'm tickled she is in good spirits and that her family is there around her. Sometimes there is nothing better!

When you talk with Tammy or maybe Juliana tonight, let them know that I'm still keeping Juliana in my prayers and hoping she has a speedy recovery and she is home for Christmas.  Send my Love. Love to you Barb. Love, Bobbie
