Update on Juliana

I have had what is going on with Juliana on my mind and I cant help but wonder do some doctors get some kind of sick thrill working on obese patients. As to why her doctor hasent come to see her I wonder about that too. Read Barbara C. and her profile the same doctor Juliana has was barbs and he never came to see her either. Doctor Farrel saw me everyday he truly is a wonderful kind man.                                                          Annie

More prayers and requests for Blessings are being sent Julianna's way.   This makes me more thankful as we all should be if we came through this procedure with little to no problems.  It makes everything that I went through very pale in comparison.  I totally agree about having a family member or friend with you to be your advocate.  Make sure that you remember to sign a state giving the staff permission to talk to and give information to your avocate.  HIPPA regulations severely restrict who the hospital staff can talk to.    My daughter stayed with me in ICCU and never left 24/7.  She questioned everything and chewed the Radiologist out for giving me contrast with iodine it when it plainly stated on my chart and armband that I was allergic.   She followed right up with a phone call to my doctor's service requesting that I be given Benedryl immediately and within 10 minutes I had it.
