The post in main forum... Go there for the poster's personal review, ordering info, etc.  (He rated it an 8 out of 10.) Here's the NUT values...

The information from the company, Dymatize:

Elite Oats 'N More is exactly the kind of whole oats meal that you would expect from Dymatize Nutrition. Power packed, cutting edge, and absolutely delicious.  In each of the 7 convenient single serving pouches, you get rich, hearty oatmeal plus an added 34+ grams of our famous Elite Whey Protein. Instead of fueling up with only simple carbs, get a real start with protein and the goodness of whole oats. These oats contain high levels of Soluble Fiber, which plays an integral role in promoting a healthy body. Our 5 mouth-watering flavors, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Granola Crunch, Apple Spice, Sunrise Cocoa, and Banana Nut make Elite Oats 'N More a welcome and healthy treat each day.

Elite Oats 'N More I just sent email asking if they have sample packs so I can taste the various flavors before ordering.  I'll let you know what I hear back!

HMMMMM...  it would seem to me you could make your own by mixing in a scoop of unflavored protein powder with your regular oatmeal, then flavoring it yourself.  But please let me know what you think of it!  THe convenience of single serving packets and of instant oatmeal is attractive.

If they don't do samples, I'd be willing to go in and a purchase for everyone to share so we can try them! Nikki

Don't know about steel cut... probably on the web site somewhere.  Why does that matter?  I have bought and cooked and eat steel cut, but it takes SO long.  It does have more fiber, but my NUT has told me that for now, to stay away from high fiber foods... that they fill my new stomach too fast and give me a false sense of full when I need other nutrients (like protein) more now. I find this about steel cut vrs. rolled:

Why Steel-cut Oats?

Steel-Cut Oats are whole grain groats (the inner portion of the oat kernel) which have been cut into two or three pieces using steel discs. Golden in colour and resembling mini rice particles, they are as nature intended – nothing added and nothing taken out.

How are they different from Rolled Oats?

Rolled oats are flake oats that have been steamed, rolled, re-steamed and toasted. Due to all of this additional processing they have lost some of their natural taste, goodness and texture. If I can get 36gm of protein in a small bowl of oatmeal, and I like the taste of it, I'm inclined to eat it.  Being that this is an instant oatmeal and steel cut takes up to an hour to cook, this is probably not steel cut.  I don't always have a long time to cook oatmeal and the instant factor along with the protein works for me.

I bought this months ago and I have 1 word for it.........
YUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone else likes it, go for it. I have been eating Quaker weight loss oatmeal. It's instant, higher protein (6) and higher fiber (7). I was making my steel cut oatmeal in the crockpot so it would be ready in the morning. But, I really like the weight control one, it is much easier.
