Charlotte Shopping Odessy - edited - date and activity?

Ladies all.  I am SO excited about the 27th!  I wanted to mention some places that either I have gone to or have been recommended to me as shopping opportunities: 1)  There is a pretty new Goodwill store on south Tryon at the intersection of 160 (across from the Best Buy) in southwest Charlotte.  My niece just went yesterday and said it was really nice with awesome bargains. 2)  Junior League (in uptown Charlotte)  I haven't been but have been told there are awesome clothes there. 3)  Guardian Angel (supports Alzheimers' research - www.guardianangelthrift.org) on south Tryon and Westinghouse (southwest Charlotte) - I have shopped there pre-op but not for clothes.  But, a dear friend gets all her stuff there and she looks like a fashion plate!  (Was started in Fuquay-Varina and now has a Charlotte store too). Didn't we say something about the GW on Sardis, too? Edited to add: I am such a goober - I meant the Friday after Christmas and typed the wrong day.  Any new info, are we on for the 28th and if so when?

So the plan is to go shopping on the 27th and dinner on the 28th?  I think I missed that.  I thought it was a plan to go to dinner on Friday night?  I'm not complaining at alllll...but I do already have something on Thursday.  Let me know...  thanks! Connie

We can do both.. but I just thought dinner too.  But hey.. who am I to judge?  We could all meet up and eat somewhere in Matthews and hit the GW on Sardis!!!

I am wanting to do it all!!  If we do both..i can shop on thurs for a while.  and of course my calendar is already displaying dinner on Friday.   Matthews Township has some great places.  Actually one of my favorite places to eat is there.  Carrabas.  I'm not sure how much i can eat there...but I am willing to do it.  IF you don't want to do something like that there is also a GREAT WING place there in that same shopping center.  Township Grille.  It has GREAT FOOD PERIOD...but their wings are wonderful.   I'm so excited about getting to meet some of you wonderful people! 

We could also eat at Chilis on Sardis Road..  I love that place and it is usually not overly crowded.  :)  I will be driving in (I live about an hour or so away) but Matthews is a great area to socialize.  There is also a Hopps, Souper Salad, Outback and BoneFish Grill right around there.  I am not too choosey.  I usually will eat soup wherever we go.  :)  My immediate plan is to try and get up there about mid-day and stay for dinner.  We could shop early (for those that can..) and then meet for dinner. What do you think?

Chilis would be good !!  yep...there are tons around there to eat.  I totally forgot.   But... are we still talking Thurs or Friday ??  (don't be upset...I'm just maybe brain dead or something...I keep getting confused.)   LOL  

Friday.  :)  Do you work?  If not, we can hit all of the GWs that day and then meet for dinner!!!

ok.  Friday it is!  December 28.  I am on Short Term Disability right now because of surgery and I can be there!  WOOO HOOO  I am very happy.  Shopping and Dinner and WONDERFUL NC Friends!   I am counting down the days now! 

Let me know what time and where to meet. My mom will be in town also. Can she tag along with us? She loves to go to GW Boutique's. It will be so much fun.

Sweet!  I'm thining about bringing my niece (she's 36 and almost never gets out of the house without the kids, unless she's in class).  What's our count now?
