peripheral neuropathy

This is for people who are post op.  Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm curious to hear if you do.  Please post here or email me I'd like to  chat about this. Jen

My mother had gastric stapling in 1970's. She suffers from it terribly. Started about 5 years ago. No cure, not really any treatment.  She was sent home with no instructions on how to eat, what to eat, vitamins to take....I guess they did not know the danger of vitamin deficiency. Ramona

GOOD EVENING,   YES I HAD NEUROPATHY....I HAD IT BAD WHEN I WAS ABOUT 3 MONTHS OUT...AS SOON AS I STATRED TO REALIZE WHAT WAS GOIN ON I CALLED MY DR OFFICE AND I WAS SEEING A NEURO DOCTOR GETTING TEST DONE AND TAKING SOME NEURONTIN 4X PER DAY ...I WAS TAKING THAT FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS....I STARTED TO INCREASE MY WALKING ....AND STARTED TO GO SWIMING ( THAT MADE IT ALOT MORE EASY FOR ME). IT PASSED SOONER THAN I THOUGHT.
