SOIREE... YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!

I just wanted to tell EVERYONE that we had a great time at the SOIREE....   We had folks come from near and far (all the way to the coast!!)...   YOU CHARLOTTE PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE COME TOO, you were invited, no excuses!!!!   It was so nice to see everyone, and meet some new ones too!...   we even had a mini support group come (Cagair's husband) and a wonderful girl named Juliana who is having her surgery in TWO DAYS!!  YEAH JULIANA!!!  She came with her miniature support group too (her mom!)   The gift exchange was lots of fun... I think everyone left with something they wanted, well at least I think everyone left with something they wanted...  This will be a continuing get together and hopefully we can get all of you to come out and hang with us!!  We are working on having some really great speaker/resources coming to our meetings so if any of you have a topic or idea for a meeting, SPEAK UP...   we are always open to new ideas! Love those fairys Laura, I had a great time today and the room was a perfect place. I think Santa is going to get me a GPS for Christmas so maybe in January I can drive to Front Street. It was wonderful to see everyone and yes Paula that was a perfect gift for me. Both beach girls looked wonderful and the food was great we are blessed to have our own chef Wendy on our board. Juliana I will be thinking of you on your big day. Thank you Barb for being a good friend and for driving Miss Annie to the party. Meeting at Target worked out very well. Cagair you are doing great! What a blessing it is to have a hubby like you have. I am glad you guys had a good time.  I wish I could have come, but 2 hours plus in a car with a cranky 2 year old.. No thanks!  LOL   We all need to plan a "middle of NC' meet up.  That would be cool!!

I had a great time, and just loved meeting all of the people that I've been talking to for the past few months!  Everyone is so much fun, I can't wait to see what we can do in coming months!
