Surgery update

Hospital Called and told me I needed to be there at 5:30 am and my surgery would be 2 hrs after.(7:30) I was not expecting that. Myrtis

Oh that's good.  You'll be first up (like I was) while everybody (doc and OR staff)  is "fresh" and rare'n to go... which means you'll be first into recovery and first to start feeling better!

That's great news, Myrtis!  That way you won't have to wait and fret and starve all day, and you will be far more likely to be discharged the next day!

You go Myrtis. I will be thinking of you.  There are alot of room on the bench. Keep us posted. Reenie

I had mine first thing in the morning too ... it's great to get it over with early.

I had to be @ Mercy @ 5:30 and had surgery @ 7:30..  Everyone was fresh and ready to go!  I liked being first... there was not a lot of time to sit around and reconsider!  :)  Good luck Myrtis.. my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Myrtis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY YOUR DAY IS HERE!!! WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I had mine first thing in the morning and it was nice to get in and get it done, best of luck to you sweetie!!!! we have a spot for you here on the bench!!

As I post this, it's 5:42 Thursday Morning........and thinking of you, Myrtis.  It sure has been a long journey for you to get this approved and finally scheduled, but your wait is over........today is your re-birthday!  Will keep you in thoughts and prayers today. Love ya, Nanc
