help please
I agree with the previous ladies responses... I'm only about 2 weeks ahead of you and if I eat too fast or the "wrong" food, then I get nauseous and a headache... weird... I think I'm finally learining when to stop eating, although sometimes I still overdo it. :( I have been sick a couple of times and it's no fun, but it does help once you get the mess out...
Gross, I know... but true.
Anyway, take it slow... eat soft-- really soft-- foods and if it doesn't stop in a day or two call the SO and see what they have to say... I hope it gets easier for you!!! Be sure and let us know how you are doing.

It's a BOY!
I agree with the above. I would add eating smaller meals more frequently throughout the day in addition to eating tiny bites and chewing them thoroughly before swallowing. I was real shaky with food at 6 weeks myself, so I think this is likely an adjustment period for your new body, but it sure wouldn't hurt to call your surgeon.
See my current posts about the same thing. I've tried everything and still getting SO nauseated with everything I eat. It started about 3 weeks ago (I'm almost at 8 weeks out tomorrow). I'm to the point I don't even want to eat, especially since I'm rarely hungry, because I dread the nausea that's coming when I do eat.
The only thing that's making life tolerable for me right now is the dissolvable Zofran my GP gave me last week. I could tell I was getting very dehydrated so I went there (instead all the way to G'ville and my doc was out of town all last week anyway). I was severely dehydrated (which can also cause nausea)... and was given 3 bags of IV fluids while there in my GP's office.
Had endoscopy today by WLS surgeon and nothing showed up so he's scheduling an Upper GI now.
I hope you get to feeling better soon... you might want to make sure you're hydrated too! I suggest you call your doc... Mine told me "this isn't normal" so I hope we get to the bottom of the problem and fix it.
Thanks everyone I will try to eat slower and measure my foods I was doing that but got away from it , If i dont feel better over the weekend I will call my surgeon to see what he can do. I know I have to slow down my eating for one Im going to buy me a kitchen timer to clock my eating time this may help I think it may be that I eat to fast and not give my stomach time to see if I can tolerate the food Ive eaten till its to late..,
