How did you get your protein and exercise in today?

I started my day off so far with a decaf coffee with 1 scoup of my favorite choc protein powder that has 23 grams of protein. I am now sipping on my water that has 5 grams of protein. I have walked my 25 minutes for the am.  Come on girls lets move........ whooooooooo hooooooooooooooo

Made it to ONDERLAND!!!!!!!

So far I've already had: 2 eggs - poached and 2 small pieces of low fat low sodium gwaltney sausage (19g total) 16oz of milk (16g protein) 1 serv pudding with 1 scoop protein powder (25g protein).  I'm working from home today, so I'll be walking the dog before lunch (in 30 min) and do approx 1.36miles. Update: Walked..   Now I'm having my lunch - left overs from a FANTASTIC Resturaunt in Asheville (Frankie Bones). Coffe Spiced Marinated Rib-eye  with Steamed asparagus and oysters rockafeller

Unjury protein drink for breakfast.  A cheese snack this AM and a 3 oz. of ground beef for lunch.  I am getting ready for some lemon yogurt in a few minutes with a tablespoon of protein powder.  For exercise I have walked my behind off all over this huge middle school campus taking kids to class.  I make them keep up with me and I really pour the juice on when I walk them from one side of the campus to the other.  They get so mad with me and yell "slow down miss, slow down."  I just laugh and tell them they need to keep up with grandma or get left behind.

This AM a protien shake last minute choice. For Lunch flounder filet with breading taken off and a small serving of cucumber salad. Walked the dogs when I got home from shopping been walking the mall today also. Snack two pumpkin seeded organic crackers and some homemade all nut butter. Dinner garlic and herb shrimp and a little lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes FF italian dressing a few cubes of 2% cheese                                               Annie

Hey everyone!!  I've never responded to a post of this nature but I'm game!! B: 1 slice lowfat cheddar cheese and 7 small round slices pepperoni nuked for 30 seconds (this makes it crunchy and yummy!!)  12 grams protein S:  Detour protein bar - 15 grams protein L:  3 oz. tuna packed in water with 1 teaspoon mayo and 4 ritz crackers - 21 grams protein D: homemade chili w/beans, spoonful of ff sour cream and some shredded cheddar cheese - not sure of the protein grams - haven't figured it up yet. I have only drank about 40 oz of water so far today.  They won't let us have drinks on our desk at work so it's hard to get it all in.  I'm going to try to finish another 20 oz bottle before bedtime tonight. As far as exercise goes, I have joined Curves with a co-worker and we went on our lunch hour today.  It just about kicked my butt but I love it!!! Hugs, Donna

Hey Bea....  Well since I am just one week ahead of you I am right there with you regarding this question!!!  I am sick of the sweet protein shakes.     I am hoping that I can go to puree this week when I go Wednesday so see the nutritionist.   Slight side track:  Can anyone tell me if  soft foods and puree are the same?  I'm craving a scrambled egg!!!   LOL    That is all I have wanted for 2 days now.   Bea I am glad you are doing so well.  Congrats again! I don't go to the nut until the 19th!!!! I am craving TUNA!!!!! I did get all of my protein, water and walking in today. Woooo hoooooooooooooo  Let's go girls, summer will be just around the corner, you know how time flys by.

I am exercise deficient, for sure.  But I did a lot of shopping today and walked my tail off doing that.  I know that Diane won't count that as real exercise, though. 

I haven't gotten in all of my protein yet, but I will in a few minutes by drinking a protein bullet to add another 42 grams of protein to my daily count. 

As for my other choices today, I had about half of a "light eater's special" at Townhouse II in Kannapolis.  That includes liver mush, grits, and 1 egg (I had mine scrambled).  I ate very little of the grits and liver mush but most of the egg.  Then I went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch and had white bean chili and a small salad, mostly spinach.  While walking through the mall, I ate about 3/4 of a Power Crunch bar.  For dinner, I made a taco wreath and ate a small portion of that which was mostly refried beans, ground beef, and cheese.  The dog got most of that.  Refried beans really fill me up quickly.

I HAVE NEVER DONE ANY EXERCISE....I AM TO LAZY. I ONLY WALK TO MY CAR TO COME TO WORK AND BACK HOME.
