How did you get your protein and exercise in today?
Hey everyone!! I've never responded to a post of this nature but I'm game!! B: 1 slice lowfat cheddar cheese and 7 small round slices pepperoni nuked for 30 seconds (this makes it crunchy and yummy!!) 12 grams protein S: Detour protein bar - 15 grams protein L: 3 oz. tuna packed in water with 1 teaspoon mayo and 4 ritz crackers - 21 grams protein D: homemade chili w/beans, spoonful of ff sour cream and some shredded cheddar cheese - not sure of the protein grams - haven't figured it up yet. I have only drank about 40 oz of water so far today. They won't let us have drinks on our desk at work so it's hard to get it all in. I'm going to try to finish another 20 oz bottle before bedtime tonight. As far as exercise goes, I have joined Curves with a co-worker and we went on our lunch hour today. It just about kicked my butt but I love it!!! Hugs, Donna

I am exercise deficient, for sure. But I did a lot of shopping today and walked my tail off doing that. I know that Diane won't count that as real exercise, though.
I haven't gotten in all of my protein yet, but I will in a few minutes by drinking a protein bullet to add another 42 grams of protein to my daily count.
As for my other choices today, I had about half of a "light eater's special" at Townhouse II in Kannapolis. That includes liver mush, grits, and 1 egg (I had mine scrambled). I ate very little of the grits and liver mush but most of the egg. Then I went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch and had white bean chili and a small salad, mostly spinach. While walking through the mall, I ate about 3/4 of a Power Crunch bar. For dinner, I made a taco wreath and ate a small portion of that which was mostly refried beans, ground beef, and cheese. The dog got most of that. Refried beans really fill me up quickly.
