I ran!

Annie's post about dancing got me thinking a little.   First, you need to know that DH and I have very strong feelings about running.  There are only two reasons in the world to run, to catch something or get away from it.   In either case, mayhem  or sex  must be involved.   That said, yesterday I left something in the car when I got home and needed to go get it.  I had already kicked my shoes off, and the pavement was cold.  So I RAN to the car and back (all of twenty feet, maybe) but still - I ran!  When I got back in the house I stopped dead and said, "Hey, that wasn't too bad!" It's odd the things that matter to us as we go thru this journey! Holiday hugs!

Good for you--its fun to find out you can really move when you need to!

I agree that there are not too many reasons to run for. But I was sitting at the Park the other day watching a few joggers go by and all I wanted to do was have to ABILITY to just run like they were....  maybe I will be able to do that again soon ;) Congrats on your running!! Have a great weekend!
