I have heard so many things about Fage Yogurt. I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I want to try some. Has anyone seen it around the Charlotte, Matthews, Pineville, or Monroe areas? Thanks,     Tiffany

I have seen it at HT and TJ but what I saw was it had no flavors but the flavors I have seen had lots of sugar and that looks risky for me. I have thought about adding a table spoon of polana all fruit to sweeten it up some but havent done it yet.                                                                       Annie

The Harris Teeter out near Super Target in Concord has it -- I think that's George Liles Parkway or something like that.  You can get to it right off of I-85.   Trader Joes has their own variety of Greek yogurt which is a little *****eaper.  None of it has any flavor, but you can flavor it with fresh or frozen fruit, sugar-free syrups, Splenda, and it is wonderful.  You can also add it to your protein shakes.  It's good stuff, in my opinion.

People get it with the intent of adding flavor. I haven't met anyone who liked it plain.  Lots of people use those flavored syrups and fruit to spice it up or add it to a potatoe and what not.  But I can't help you on where to get it. I haven't found it yet either in Raleigh.

In the Fort Mill, South Charlotte area, you can find it at Super Target and Harris Teeter. Look on Egg Face's web site for recipes. I don't think anyone likes it plain, it just has alot of protien for the serving size.  Ramona

I'm glad folks were able to tell you where you can buy it...I'm moving to Charlotte next year and that is what caused me to come check out the NC forum. Anyway....I think Fage is great it is one of the staples of my diet.  It does need something added to it though. I like it with some splenda mixed in or some no sugar added fruit preserves.  The protein count is really good.  You can also use it as a dip for raw veggies by mixing in some onion soup mix. Oh...you can also mix it with some sugar free pudding mix.

I also found it in Raleigh at Whole Foods, and I think Harris Teeter in Wake Forest.  I also thinking I might have bought some at a Super Target store.  I do have to add a little Splenda and fruit.  My favorite is either some canned diced peaches in the NSA syrup (the kind w/Splenda) or the Splenda Fruit ****tail (my most favorite).  It's too bland w/out "stuff" in it for me.

I get the greek yogurt at Trader Joe's.  I use it as a sour cream substitute - making like a pizza/lasagna thingy with buffalo burger, spaghetti sauce, lo carb tortilla, greek yogurt and lo fat mozzarella - Hadn't thought about sweet, may have to try that.
