Blongirl (Bea) is out of surgery and in recovery! HOORAY!

Still want to know why she was in surgery four and a half hours.....that seriously freaked me out. She's at Concord Medical Center is anybody wants to fax over a note or drop off a card or something.  I'm going to take her a recovery basket tomorrow (or try to - if my tummy behaves)

Four and a half is not horribly out of the norm.  Dr. P usually plans on 2.5 to 3.5 I think.  But I know he has had some that are 6 plus hours.  He is really painstaking in what he does.  Remember too that his patients have a leak test while they are under, so that we don't go back the next day for another leak test.  I am betting he was just being extra cautious. 

I'll be interested to hear about it tho!
