Hey Everyone!

I wanted to check in and say hello. This could be long...  I first want to thank everyone for your constant prayers and support during this time of loss in my life.  I can honestly say that it is only that support from here and others in my life that has sustained me.  Thanksgiving weekend we scattered my dad's ashes in the ocean as he wanted and since then I have a somewhat sense of peace and closure.  I miss him terribly and thing of him many times everyday but I know that he would want ALL the best for me.  As for my weight loss, it is amazing how things continue to fall off even when I think I am messing up.  I have lost 86lbs and about 7 lbs from a mile stone.  It is amazing how great I feel and I can really see a difference all over my body.  Thank God for my pouch that he gave me.  I wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you once again.  I sincerely hope that everyone will try and come to the holiday party for a time of fun and fellowship.  I look forward to meeting everyone.  Take care and very much love to all... Candice PS Thanks for all the Christmas Cards....yours are on their way...

Hi Candace, My heart goes out to you this "first" holiday season without your daddy.  Once a parent is missing, the holidays are never the same, but we must keep on making new memories while honoring and remembering the old ones.   Great to see you here... and I'm looking forward to seeing you again at the Soiree!  I hope we get to chat more there than we did last time...

Hi! I just wanted to say hello back at ya! ANd keep up the fantastic work! I'm not far behind you with 72 lbs - I'll let you be my encouragement.  I can tell by the way you talked at our breakfast group and from your post you were very close to your father.  While I am sorry for your loss, I will tell you from what I've seen I'm in awe of how you handle it. I did not do so well.  You are a shining star! Keep shining!
