Has anyone tried any of the Protein items they have?  My husband has someone he works with send a catalog home to me to look through.  They have protein bars and shakes.  ??   But I also see Soy Nuts.  Which,  once I can eat them, they might be good for a change.  ??   Just wondering if anyone knows how these items are?   Thanks So Much! You can buy soy nuts anywhere... harris teeter, fresh market, whole foods... heck Ive even seen them at big lots! Just keep in mind they are a little higher in fat - great snack since they have protein just have to watch the portion sizes!  Not sure how their products are... I looked at the website and dont see the nutritional information listed for the products - I would be wary to purchase without seeing how much is in there!

Thanks Jennifer.  I agree about getting soy nuts just about anywhere.  I just thought it was a great new snack that I hadn't heard too many people talking about.

I think if you go to the website, there is information once you pull up each individual item.  I thank you for your advice though.  And I agree, I am very wary of "hidden information". Thanks- Connie

Hiya kiddo!  I haven't tried Herbalife but I have heard good things about the company.  I use Trim Advantage / XS / Nutrilite stuff.  Their shakes are 35 g of protein for 220 calories which I found really useful when I was working hard to get my protein in early on.  I have some of their chocolate protein powder too, which i used a good bit.  I don't use it now (I like the no flavor protein powder).  I'll be happy to drop the chocolate off when I'm in Gaston county this week, if you want it.  I also have some shakes (vanilla and strawberry) left over that I don't use as much now.  Is your addy on the Christmas card list?

Hey woman...   How sweet of you for thinking of me.  I am struggling to get in the protein and honestly I am looking for all kinds of outlets.  I wish I could eat the protein bars right now, but that isn't an option.   Yes, my information is on the Card Exchange List.  I will PM you with more information.  Thanks again for offering.  I hope I get to meet you!   thanks- Connie

I used to use Herbalife (and was a distributor at one point).  Their products are great quality and the taste is great, however ... since I'm now an avid label reader, I have found that their shake mixes are higher in sugar grams than a lot of alternatives.   They have a protein drink mix that is fruit flavored, 2 different flavors, that is VERY good.  It comes in individual packets.  It's not milk based and just mixes with water.  Their protein soup is also very good and comes in individual packets.  Those are great for packing for work.   Their protein bars aren't bad, but my personal favorite is the Power Krunch bars that I get at Vitamin World.  They don't taste as "protein-y" to me as some others that I've tried, Herbalife included.   You're doing the right thing investigating!  That's the only way to find out what you like and what will work for you.  Plus, on these forums you can find someone, I guarantee, who has tried whatever it is that you are questioning.  We have all tried everything out there at one point in time or another, I'm sure of it.  I know I feel like I've been on every diet in the world and any kind of supplement that offered me a little energy and/or weight loss benefits!  lol
