Jennifer K.!!...I have a question...
Hey Jennifer!
I noticed we both had Dr. M as our surgeon albeit months apart and had a question. Did you ever ask Dr. M how big a pouch he typically makes or how much intestine he bypasses? I swear I thought I had asked every question imaginable but somehow didn't ask him about that!!
I was just wondering since I'm about 4 weeks out and able to eat about 1/2 cup of food /sitting. Luckily though, I'm able to get enough food (600-800 calories/day) to not have to rely on protein shakes for my main protein source. Thanks for any guidance you can offer! My next appointment with Dr. M won't be until February.

DrM does proximal procedures.... he bypasses only around 80. As for pouch size - not sure about that one :-) I think he told me its about the size of a thumb...
Since you are 4 weeks out I am assuming you are still on soft foods... you may notice when you move to more 'normal' eating that you may not be able to eat as much in one sitting :-) Just make sure you keep measuring!
