OT: Lake Norman/ Mooresville Christmas Help

Ok, I am sorry this is OT, but I really think this is the best place to get answers from the area........ Mom is in Mooresville but travels down to Huntersville sometimes for dinner.  Does anyone know of a restaurant that's new and somewhat upscale where I can give her and step-dad a gift cert?  They like to try new places, and probably have tried all the old......any ideas?   Also.......is there a decent salon I can get her a cert. for a pedi. around the Mooresville area?  I don't want to go to one of "those" places.......this is MOM!!  (my best friend, so I want the best) Thanks in advance for any ideas..... Red Rocks @ Birkdale has GREAT food (that is in Huntersville) Also there is Mickey and Mouch (I think that is the spelling.) Very upscale and good also. Personally I like Red Rocks better.

For salon...not sure on that one. I am sure there are several up there but I have never gotten my hair done up there. I am sure there is a website for Birkdale...it's a nice area up in Huntersville. It's the "in" place to be. :-)  Hope this helps somewhat!

I second the vote for Mickey and Mooch's. Great food and nice place. They have a "to die for" lobster bisque. Teresa

Well, I checked into Birkdale, and it's exactly what I was looking for!  I decided on the eeZ place, they love Chinese and Sushi.  Also, there's a very nice spa there and I'm going to get Mom a cert. from there too!  Thanks for your responses........Might get her to take me for the Lobster Bisque on Monday Night when I come there, lol  Thanks again guys! It's been a little while since I had been out there haven't heard of that place. I might have to make a trip out there and try it. :) I am glad Birkdale woked for you.....they have something for everyone!

They even have a specialty pet store like in Hollywood!  I just might stop and buy some special doggies a Christmas Pressie! Nancy
