Yeah, I am inclined to agree with you...  I didn't have to do it either, but Barb's remark sure gave me pause for thought... Get used to swallowing nasty stuff is all I can say, and pray that you pass your first leak test!

Thank you God that my surgeon did not require this either.  I had my colonoscopy done early in the year and that was horrible enough.  The prep was worse than the procedure   

Yeah, Fleets Phosphosoda is the devil!  It is the reason I will most likely NEVER drink apple juice again the rest of my life.  I mixed mine with apple juice to try to hide it ... ummmm ... that's like trying to hide the ocean.  It tastes like you're drinking sea water.  Awful, horrible stuff!   But did it work?  You bet.
