...sucks this week! Nothing tastes good or makes me want to eat when I should. Anyone else have this? I seem to graze when this happens. Nothing really bad, just seems I take a bite and I've lost interest. What's a good idea to jazz up lunch... and breakfast... and supper...

I have been like that lately too.  Today I didn't eat breakfast, I just didn't want anything.  I look at this as a great thing, I used to live to eat, now the bulk of the time I am eating because I have to, not because I want to.  I am not suggesting that not eating breakfast is good, just that the desire to eat is not what it once was.  Anyway, good luck finding things that look good to you.  I hope everything else is going well.  How are you doing?  Post any new pictures lately? Yeah... what you and Ellen said.  I have eaten next to nothing today.  I never thougbt I would see the day when food was such a bore and turn-off.  Go figure!!  (But thank you Lord for making that a reality to me!!!)

My labs were good so I'm not gonna worry... even though my PCP said I wasn't eating enough. Thanks for the Christmas card! Your kids are beautiful and you look great!

I go thru phases like that also.... its important to stick to your meal plan and make sure you are eating enough - even if you have to force it a little :-) I always like to check out food.com or lowfatcooking.com and just browse the recipies and see if anything good pops up. I also like to just walk around the grocery store and see what looks appealing. Its wintertime so check out some good fall recipies - I love to cook with pumpking. To jazz up salads I add dried cranberries, fresh grapes, fresh sliced granny apples... yumm :-) I also like to toss grilled chopped chicken with a bunch of veggies and a little LF/FF italian cesar dressing... maybe add a little pasta if you like. My favorite thing right now (since I am stuck eating soft foods/liquids) is to eat dinner for breakfast... nothing like some good eggs for dinner :-)

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I force most days... I just don't want anything at times. I was like that before surgery. I'm the spice queen! I flavor it up so I don't know it's meat!   You feeling better? I'm glad they finally figured it out... Enjoy all the eggs you want!

I feel ok as long as I stick to the soft/mushy/liquidy foods. Since seeing the Dr a week ago monday Ive only had two small gall bladder attacks from something Ive eaten.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I am so sorry that you are having a hard time wating.  However I can feel you and Jenn H.   There are alot of days that I can't stand to eat.  And NOTHING, I mean NOTHING appeals to me.  Hope you find a solution to the problem.
