Any updates on Buttersmom?

Hey - any updates on Connie? I'm not sure who her angels were......

Hey there, I saw Connie just before I left the Hospital, she was making her laps and stopped by to say hello, she said that she was having a little more pain (this was the day after her surgery) But she was up and walking and looking darn good.  That's the last thing I have heard from her, I hope everything is ok. What about you Knikki how are you doiing?

Doing great - I posted some questions, but I'm trying to avoid saying much until I'm out of the "Oh God, why did I do this?" phase that comes with post-op pain and jitters.

I'm totally excited - just need to get through about 3-4 more days, when my doc says it's normal to start FEELING better and feeling more normal.  So low profile until then.

I'm missing my surgery sister, Connie - hey, how are YOU doing?  Feeling better?  Freaking out at all?

Thanks for the update. As I mentioned to Nikki, I was beginning to wonder/worry myself.

I hope that this note finds you recovering gently. I really look forward to hearing of your experiences as you make your way on this road to a new you.

Thanks for the post ... I was beginning to wonder myself.

I'm glad to hear you are home and okay. It is normal for this first week to 10 days to be a bit of a trail, but I promise, I really does get better. I just can't wait to hear of your experiences as you travel this road to a healthier you.

Take care of yourself and know that you will start feeling better, stronger, thinner and healthier soon. What a wonderful way to start the new year!

I've been doing great I have had ZERO pain, if you were to call what I have pain I would say that it compares to doin about 100 sit up it's!  (when was the last time I ever did those LOL)  So I feel very lucky in that aspect.  Yesterday was a little rough for me as I didn't get near enough protein or water in, and I was worried that I would make myself sick. Other than that, I feel like I'm really coming along, and the weight, well..... it's falling off 

Isn't it weird how to describe the "pain".  I say it is an annoyance more so than pain.  It is a hinderance.  I mean...just a few mins ago I dropped something and immediately bent over to pick it up....well, hello,.... yep....I just had major surgery with at least 20 staples in my abdomen.  LOL!

I'm glad you are doing so well.  I am also.  This is no doubt the best thing I have ever done for myself.  I am so proud of myself for following my OWN dreams for a change.

Connie has made a post this morning to update and describe her experience.  I know she is glad to finally be home! 

Yeah....   I am home and so Happy to be here.  Thanks for everyone's support and prayers over this week.  You all are simply the best!!!   I am a looser!!  Thanks again NCers.  You all deserve a HUG!!   ((((((NC))))))) Connie
