Just a quick update about Connie. I spoke with Bill in the waiting room about 10 a.m. and he said that they had come out around 9 a.m. and let him know that everything was going well, as expected. She isn't up here to the unit yet, but I can't wait to see her! Show some love and sign her surgery page for her if you haven't yet. Back to work for me!

Due to rooms being full today until LATE in the day, Connie didn't get to move up to our unit until close to 7 p.m. tonight. She actually came into one of my empty rooms, just to get her out of the PACU and onto the unit! She is to be moved into her "real" room tonight, which has probably already happened. She wanted to walk already from the stretcher to the bed, and when they make the move to her other room she plans to walk there. She actually took a walk around the unit already before I left work. She is wide awake and doing well, and she's Donna T's next-door neighbor up there tonight. Donna has done very well today, too, and has passed me in the halls several times today while doing her walks. I know they'll enjoy being neighbors tonight!

Hey Everyone I saw Connie the night she had her surgery, She looked really good, I also saw her just before I came home yesterday, she said she was having a little more pain. She was up a walking the halls and despite the pain I think she looked really good.
