New Here. Hi!

I've been around for a while, but I've made very few posts. I have just been approved for surgery and I should get a date tomorrow.  I am praying for a date before the end of the year b/c my insurance is changing on 1/1/08 to Cigna and I DO NOT want to start all over. I love hearing all of your stories and seeing the pics.  You all are an inspiration.  My DH had the surgery on 4/26/07 and has lost 109lbs to date. 

Welcome Becky! Congrats to you and DH. That's awesome you can do this together. My DH needs it but he's still in denial right now.

I would think if you were approved by your current ins co they would cover it even if it went into 2008. I'd probably get homicidal if I had to start over after being approved. This process sure is excruciating but soooooo worth it!

Welcome, Becky! Congratulations on your approval!  Be sure to let your surgeon know about the upcoming change in insurance companies.  They can be very responsive to stuff like that. And congrats to your DH!  That is SOME weight loss!  Those guys make it look so easy! Keep posting about your journey!
