Angels?

Hey Connie: My husband is going through the same thing - he was very snapish and grumpy on vacation and I finally pulled him aside and made him talk about what was going on with him.  He's more nervous and afraid than I am - and I guess that's understandable.  I would be a complete WRECK if our roles were reversed - can't live without the guy, what can you do? My response - I banned him from the hospital, made sure his guy friends knew he was going to be a bachelor for a few days and asked them to make sure he was entertained in my absence.  As long as I don't have to hear about the details - I don't care what trouble they get into! Man, I wish you were going to be at Presby - I feel like I'm going to be the only one there going through surgery.  Maybe I'll ask the nurses and just walk around and introduce myself to everybody, regardless of their surgery.  Blame it on the narcotics, right? Rock on, my sister - we're going through it together (I'm 2 hours behind you) and we're going to be amazing success stories that will be recounted throughout history! AAARGH! Nikki, the Pirate Queen
