At long last ~ an update!!!

Girl, please!!!  I lost 13 lbs between my first pre-op visit and my surgery date and you'd better believe I count those pounds in my 80 lb loss too!!!  Heck, I probably worked harder to lose those first 13 lbs than I have to lose the rest so you are darn tootin' that I'm gonna count those in my total!!  That's 13 lbs I'll never see again!!!  Whoo hoo!!!!!!  Oh, and by the way, I was down another pound when I weighed this morning so that brings my total to 81 lbs gone forever!!!!  Double whoo hoo to that!!!!!!!!

Thrift stores have become my favorite places to shop too!!!!  I know what you mean about those back handed compliments people sometimes give us ~ I know they mean well but sometimes you gotta wonder, ya know?????!!!!! Thanks for missing me ~ I've really missed all you guys too!!!  It's good to be back!!! Hugs, Donna

Barb, As usual, you are right there being so very kind!!!  You are right ~ I have had many prayers answered for me and even though I am not worthy, I am very grateful.  God is so good even when we don't deserve it!!!  I am truly happy ~ for the first time in a very long time!!  I still have some things to work through but then again, don't we all???  :-) I will keep in touch.  I miss y'all and plan on being more active on the boards now that I am getting more settled.  Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers. Reenie, Thank you for saying that I look marvelous.  I have a hard time seeing what others see but I hear that is not unusual.  Your date is almost here.  How excited, nervous, anxious and every other emotion imaginable you must be feeling right now!!!!  While there may be days where you will wonder what the heck you were thinking, all in all, I imagine you will be thrilled that you had the courage to make this life altering change.  I know that's how I feel.  Sometimes I wish I could eat like I used to but then I think about being 80 plus pounds lighter than I was 6 months ago and I know that I made the right choice.  Good luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers for a smooth and uneventful surgery and quick recovery.  God bless you! Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You look so pretty.  I am glad to hear you are doing well.  I am glad your move went well too.  Um, can you share a little winter weather with us.  I was just outside unloading a shipment and am about to sweat to death.  Gosh, I hope when I loose weight I wont be as hot all the time.  Good to hear from you.....keep up the hard work.

Hey Stacy, Aw, you ladies are making my head swell by constantly saying how pretty I am!!!  Wish I could see the same thing y'all see!!  I just see a plain Jane when I look in the mirror.  How sad is that?? I wish I could send some winter weather your way.  I'm definitely not looking forward to what is sure to come soon!!  Although today and for most of the rest of this week, we are supposed to have really mild weather with temperatures in the upper 40's and lower 50's.  Bless your heart, I hate to sweat!!  But don't worry, I stay cold more often now since surgery.  A lot of people have issues with  that from what I hear.  I will keep you in my prayers as your surgery day is fast approaching!!  Good luck to you and thanks again for your kind words.
