Hey Everyone! I have finally arrived back home! I got here about 2 hours ago, so I thought I would update everyone. My surgery went fine. I ended up having to stay an extra night because I had to get some blood transfusions. The doctor said that I lost a little too much blood. Also my heartbeat and blood pressure was up high. So I got 2 pints Wed. night and 2 more yesterday. Which helped a lot since I was so weak. But besides that everything went great! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!!!

Welcome home and congratulations, Jennifer!  Now make sure you get PLENTY of rest and let that new blood do its work!  Sip, sip, sip and take a short walk every half hour or so.

Hi Jennifer -

I'm so glad to hear that you are home resting well. As Suzanne said, be sure to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk walk. You'll be slimming down before your very eyes.

Be sure to take photos of yourself every month. Sometimes it's hard to realize the changes that are taking place while we are in the midst of the changes. The photos allow us "see" what everyone else is seeing.

Welcome to the loser's bench dear!

Warmest regards,

Barb

Jennifer! I am so glad you are home, back with us and well!  I pray you are feeling stronger today.  Try to take it easy, sip your water often and take control of the remote! Love, Diane

I'm glad you are doing well.  There is always something about being at home that just makes everything better.  Congratulations on doing so well.  I hope I can do just as well.  I'm glad the drs. took the precaution to keep you another day.  Best of Luck on your new journey.  I'm right behind you.   Connie
