*Bursitis*

Need some info. I have developed Bursitis in my left elbow. I noticed it while in Flordia several weeks ago. I did go to the urgent care, they told me to have it drained and have cortizone shots . I have a lump the size of a silver dollar. I did tell Dr. K about it. He said I can't have cortizone shots at this time before my surgery. Is there anything I can do to reduce the size in the mean time? It does hurt if I put pressure on it.   

I feel your pain!  I have Bursitis in my right shoulder, but I haven't had to have it drained or anything like that (guess it's not that bad).  Anyway, I take Glucosamine with MSM and it has helped a lot, takes a while to get into your system real good but I notice a difference.  Mine may be a different type also since it doesn't hurt when there is pressure on it, it hurts when the pressure it taken off.   I hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
