Hello All, As some of us are faced with " the first" season as new people , we worry about " OMG I can't eat " , trust me as time goes by you will learn your pouch and what she will and will not take, here are a couple of my suggestions : drink you a big glass of water half hour before your meal, get the ol pipes going--- When making your plate get only a spoon of the things you like, I have found just a nibble of all my favorites makes me happy --try to eat your turkey first small tiny bites TAKE IT SLOW--- if possible eat very little rice or noddle dishes these always fill me too fast and hit hard later. Green beans and other veggies are wonderful try these in small bites.  Bread --- grwww becareful Losers it can cause a full blown dump when you are full.... Desert-- try having a bite of your favorite half hour after your meal, take it small and slow. Holidays are a wonderful time, don't make the meal THE REASON-- remember, although you can not eat 2 cups of buttery mashed taters-- your butt now fits in the dinning room chair just fine :) Happy Turkey Day Losers

Good advice...thank you!  I think the key to enjoying the holidays in a healthy way is planning!  Know what you're getting into when you're going somewhere and know before you get there what you're going to eat.  If you don't know, then eat before you go, or take an appropriate snack along so you're not stuck staring at all of the other goodies.

Of course, this is coming from someone that hasn't gone through it yet,  but that's my plan!
