Im back from Portland

I went on a super spur of the moment trip to Portland Oregon to visit my Grandmother. My mom and her twin sister along with my cousin who is my age flew up from California and I flew in as a surprise. No one has seen me since I had my surgery and they all could not believe how small I was!! It was wonderful to see everyone and especially my grandma who is getting up their in age (83) I dont know how much longer she will be with us and thats why I made the trip. I did great with eating and had to answer a lot of questions about why I eat so small ect. I have to buy some new pants. My jeans I have size 16 are falling off of me and I really need to buy some 14s quickly!!!!! I have lost some more weight and now weigh 196.5 and Im sooo happy!!! Im glad Im home safe and sound... the trip was exhausting and the airports are starting to get crazy with Thanksgiving travelers. I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend.

It's really great that you got to see everyone. I'll bet that they were really surprised and pleased with your newfound svelte figure! You'd better rush out and get a couple of new pair of pants to tide you over until you need a pair of 10s.

Hey Darcie!  Wow, that was a great trip and I know it was a wonderul surprise for everyone for you to be there.  Grandmothers are special; my 95 year old Grandmother lives next door to me with my Mother.  She is so special to me!    You are doing great!  Keep up the good work!  Alice
