Miss Fancy Pants at Church today
I went into my secret closet (size 8-10's) hoping to find something that would fit me to wear to church today. I chose a lovely (size 10) 2 piece fuchia suit with a black silk blouse just for fun. Didn't think I had a chance to wear it this morning and Lo and behold: IT FIT OMG! I'm not kidding I didn't even have to hem it! Now that was the real miracle... for those of you that haven't met me: I am vertically challenged.
I said this is too good to be true, so I decided if I can fit into this, I bet I can wear black heels too! (I've been practicing around the house for months) ! The only problem I had was the left shoe was a little big! LOL it slid on my heel a little, not bad. And off to church I went! I was too cute! LOL
I was a little nervous walking on the linoleum with those heels... sigh. And, when I got in the car to go home, I drove barefooted. ahhhhhhhh! But I did it!
Love,
Diane
Diane, that is fabulous! I had to identify with the sore feet: today I interviewed for a job on another team and put on a suit (also fuschia--at least the jacket was!) and wore heels. Not spikes, mind you, but heels. The jacket was a 10. But a big one! LOL Anyway, someone at work stopped me and said "Suzanne??? Is that YOU???" I have to admit I was tickled. But that word in no way describes how my feet feel right now! LOL
Enjoy your victory and thanks for sharing! A joy shared is doubled!
