I'm back.
Well, I'm back from my Dr. visit. I hate that I had to miss the Onslow support meeting but I had to schedule when he was available. With my insurance I have to first get approved for a fill, so it involves two trips. The doctor said that according to my weight loss so far, he wasn't sure they would approve me. Since Oct. 2nd, I've averaged about a 15 lbs loss and they generally like to see 1/2-1 lb. a week, so actually, I'm ahead of the plan. What concerns both he and I, is that when it's time to eat, I can eat way more than I should be, up to @8 oz, and I don't really feel any restriction, just a full feeling. But I'm loosing.......so I have no Idea what's up with that. He submitted it to insurance and he said we'll just have to see what they do. One good thing, I found that my Dr. scale weighs less than my gym scale!

GURL- Look at you at the 190lbs!!! Congrats! That has to feel wonderful! You wt loss is going great!
Even with being a self pay, I felt on the defensive, like I had to convince Dr B why I needed a fill. This last fill- he really asked alot of questions and seemed hesitant. I was also able to easily eat 6-8 ounces and I was getting hungry too quickly- 2-2.5hr intervals. That has changed and improved tremendously after my 3rd fill. I am a consistent 3-4 ounces now and easily stay full for 4-5 hrs. The fill really helped. I keep my eye on that prize- 11 lbs to go!
I have my fingers and toes crossed for BSBC approval for a fill! Keep me posted!

Hi Nancy -
I hope that the insurance approves the fill for you. It looks like you are really working your tool for all it's worth. Way to go!!! You are losing at rate similar to those of us who have had RNY and that's something.
Keep up the great work.
