I'm a recipe junkie. I'll admit.  I like things that take me less than 30 min -45 min to make. Things that have useful ingredients (not something you buy and use once and it sits) and recipes that use things that people can pronounce.  Because of our restrictions of what we can eat (RNYers), that doesn't have to mean that we have a bland common diet eating the same things over and over.  So I love sharing things that I have found and I like. LOL I'm cheap (thrifty is the polite word?) and with a daughter whose a senior in high school who works and plays hockey (travel hockey team), I'm always on the go for something. If it's no****ching her practice or playing a game, then it's helping her with her essays for scholarships and grants or running her around for school stuff.  Add in three pets (dog, cat, snake) and a husband - it's all the time move.  I don't have time to make 2 hours meals unless it's crockpot and my wallet can't handle anything fancy - especially with college on the horizon (she just got her acceptance letter for UNC-G)

Congrats on your daughter's acceptance to UNC-G.

I'm with you on the recipes ... I can see we are kindred spirits ;-)
