I think my stall has broken, AND...
First of all, I've lost 2 more lbs. in the past couple of days so I hope my 12 day stall is broken for a while. Once they review my paperwork, they will call w/in 48 hours to schedule my assessment appointment! It's about 25 miles for me to there each way, and with gas at $3.00+ that is a commitment too, but one I HAVE to make. I'll just take money I used to spend on FOOD and put it in the gas tank and into my fitness program!
I have to act on this NOW while I'm motivated and excited about it.
Anybody else out there doing something like this? What sort of exercise(s) do you do??
AND... I'm joining the Y!!!!
I just filled out the form and faxed over to the YMCA in Wake Forest for an hour-long fitness assessment to get started on an exercise program over there!
I'm SO excited and proud of myself for deciding to do this for ME. They have water aerobics,
something I've always wanted to do. I'm going to commit ($$) to the 5-sessions with a fitness trainer too, to get myself on the path to fitness! I love to walk and have the perfect country road for that, but I also want to incorporate some other things and find some exercises I can live with... I HATE exercising, but I'm sure there's something I can do. I also love tap dancing and grew up taking that, along with ballet, jazz and baton, so I did buy myself some new tap shoes last winter. I get out on my patio in warmer months and tap, and sometimes twirl my baton too... and talked to a local dance teacher last week about doing a class for us old timers who still have tapping in our bones! I know quite a few old gals around here that would sign up for that class in a minute.
