I just hit the 160's!
I'm not sure I ever thought I'd see the day that the scale would say 160 when I had both feet on the scale .... LOL.
This morning the scale said 169. I got on, then off, then on again about 5 times. Each time it said 169!
I still have more than 30 left to get to what my Dr said was my "Ideal" weight.
Among many other things, this year I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to take this journey. I'm so happy to have my diabetes resolved ... and wearing a size 10 doesn't hurt either.
I'm looking forward to what the rest of this journey has to bring.

Thanks Wendy!
I'm looking forward to meeting you too!
When you come tomorrow, would you mind bringing the cookbooks you mentioned. I have another I thought I might bring. Thought it might be helpful.
Thanks again,
Barb

Thanks for your ever encouraging support. You'll be in those size 10's before you know it.

Thanks Suzanne! Enjoy those 12's while you can. You'll be in 10's before you know it.
Doesn't it make you wonder where you'll end up? I sure do.
Enjoy the misses department!

Way to go Barbara! I am so happy for you. I, once again, have stalled, but will have a whoosh soon. I think I have come to the realization that that is how my body does things....slow and easy, that's my style, I get there, but it takes a while......lol.
You are doing great and can't wait to see you guys tomorrow and see the changes you've made and meet some new people as well. Lisa
Hey Lisa -
Thanks for the ever encouraging words of support. Remember that you are still losing a good rate for you ... and at a faster rate than me. I think when we compare ourselves to one-another, it's not in competition, but as a way to try to figure out if we are making the most of this tool we have been given. We all know that there is a finite window of opportunity and I think that we are all looking to do the most we can with that window.
I really look forward to seeing you tomorrow too.
Take care,
Barb
