Thanksgiving ...
I've been thinking about Thanksgiving this year. I have so much for which to be thankful, namely my health.
I've also been trying to figure out what to do this year re: Thanksgiving dinner. As many of you know, I'm a transplant from the SF Bay Area. When we lived there I hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all my extended family and some friends that totalled somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 people, +/- a few. When we moved here, it was pretty lonely until we met some friends who have invited us to join them for the past few years. At any rate, I'm not sure if we will be joining them or not this year and while we have gone out for dinner in the past, I had to spend $35 or 40 on a meal that I'll hardly be able to eat. It seems almost a waste to cook a big dinner just for my husband, daughter and I. Any ideas for those who normally go out for Thanksgiving dinner?

If we stay home, it just might be the thing.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Sounds like fun ... I understand what you mean about not being in the mood when you are missing your kids.
I hope that you have a nice time.
Let me know if you find anything wonderful.
