My kids get packages from my mom all the time (ebay junky). They frequently come wrapped in plain paper, or are poofy envelopes that have been beat down by the USPS machine. They're dirty and wrinkled and torn.

When those packages come the kids can't WAIT to open them up and see what fabulous thing is inside.

Why is it that we're all so unwilling and unable to have the same response to PEOPLE?
